Crock-pot’s are about as close to a miracle appliance I think you can get. These little wonders are more versatile than many give them credit for. They do much more than just soup you can make anything from french toast and tapioca to roasting a whole chicken or chuck roast. No burning/scorching or tough meat they are essentially a set it and forget it appliance. Which is what makes it ideal for anyone with physical limitations. Once the prep is done it takes me no more than five minutes to load the crock and past that just turn the dial and wait.
*A note on recipes. In general the rule is 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. This allows you to adjust the timing to fit your needs. Remember if cooking meat and altering the recipe please check with a thermometer for safety before consuming.*
